The Role - Broker Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an experienced and growing team specialising in niche risks, within the Marine industry. This role will involve working closely with Brokers and Client Executives to support and facilitate the placement of business within the London market.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career and broaden their expertise as part of a dynamic and expanding team.

Key Details

• Assisting with front and back-end technical duties, including invoicing, closing advices, third-party credit notes, and LPANS.
• Preparing MRC Slips and Endorsements for Financial Lines, Property & Casualty (Open Market and Lineslip).
• Liaising with internal team members, Underwriters, and Producers as required.
• Uploading MRC slips to PPL for Underwriter sign-off and managing monthly Bordereaux.
• Monitoring and updating insurer portals, ensuring all relevant tasks are completed.
• Managing the filing of formal policy documentation.
• Supporting the team with ad-hoc duties as required.

About You

• Previous experience within the insurance industry, ideally within a broker support or technical role.
• Familiarity with PPL and experience working within the London Market is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and clients.
• A proactive approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
