Purpose of the Role

A site based, building manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of a mixed use commercial and residential property.

The individual will be the sole property management contact onsite, for all occupiers, client and lead surveyor from Savills. They are required to liaise with occupiers and the client on a regular basis. As well as, and manage all service partners contractors onsite.

The building manager will be the responsible person for health and safety compliance at the property.

Key Responsibilities

  • Main point of contact for the building occupiers covering retail, office and residential elements of the building.
  • Assist with the smooth running and maintenance of residential element of the property.
  • Work with the surveyor to achieve client’s objectives and develop strategy for the management of the building.
  • Maintain a safe environment for all in the building, 100% compliance with health and safety.
  • Completing regular building inspections and arranging any remedial works required.
  • Service charge budgets: complete first drafts, manage funds and spending as well as assisting with service charge reconciliations.
  • Drafting and maintaining all building relates policies and procedures.
  • Overseeing fire security, prevention and safety systems
  • Work alongside third party service providers to ensure the building is running and maintained to an excellent standard.
  • Implement and onboard occupiers with sustainability initiatives.
  • Assist the client with achieving their Net Zero ambitions.
  • Conduct quarterly occupier meetings and respond to any actions raised.
  • Assist with quarterly client reports
  • Implementing RISE Standards (Property+) to 5 Hanover Square.

Working Hours - 9:00 – 17:30

Salary - £50,000 - £60,000
