Building Services Estimator - First Military Recruitment : Job Details

ML66- Building Services Estimator.Salary: £35,000-£65,000.Location: Oxford.Overview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Building Services Estimator on behalf of one of our clients.Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare mechanical take-offs, pricing schedules, and bills of quantities from drawings and specifications.
• Work within agreed time scales and provide output to an accepted standard.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to gather sufficient information for accurate cost estimates.
• Communicate with the supply chain, obtaining quotations, reviewing, and aligning costs for inclusion in the overall estimate.
• Where required, update the database of costs and historic cost data.

Skills and qualifications:

• Proficiency in standard computer software such as Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as peripheral software packages like Bluebeam.
• At least five years of experience in the construction industry, preferably but not exclusively in building services estimating.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Salary: £35,000-£65,000.Location: Oxford.
