This will include leading design teams, managing contractors on site, carrying our dilapidation inspections, Carrying out defect inspections and Specification writing.The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a sounds knowledge of building construction, be RICS or CIOB qualified and have a background in private estates or commercial.This is a great role for a building surveyor to join a leading public sector organisation where you will be a vital cog In the wheel.The role:*Covering 43 builds over 7 acres.*Manage medium size projects up to 500K.*Working with the design team*Managing contractors on site.*Carrying our dilapidation inspections*Carrying out defect inspections*Specification writing*Modifying building for disables access and sustainabilityThe person*Building surveying experience.*Experience dealing with private estates or commercial buildings.*RICS qualified or CIOB*Candidates who have experience with historical building are encouraged to apply
