Job Title: Business Administration Team Lead / Leader / Manager

Due to the continuous growth of this dynamic firm, we are now recruiting for an experienced professional to join our business and add real value, managing and working alongside the team.

  • Work alongside the team to deliver the team’s collective responsibilities.
  • Organise and prioritise the team’s collective workload to meet deadlines and to ensure there is a fair division of work tasks during fluctuations.
  • Provide back-up for individual’s tasks where there is no natural back-up coverage within the team.
  • Ensure the stakeholders for responsibilities are identified and that they are kept suitably informed throughout the delivery of the task.

The team’s duties include:

  • The Company’s data management including building and producing MI for internal and external stakeholders, management of company records, and adherence to the Data Protection Act including fulfilling the rights of Data Subjects.
  • System admin for the Company’s CMS including managing permissions, making amendments and acting as the system’s helpdesk/support.
  • Managing the Company’s IT hardware including purchasing, location, maintenance/replacement cycle, and disposal.
  • Maintaining the Company’s vehicle fleet including services, MOT’s, trackers and repairs.
  • Primary contact for the Company’s external IT providers and manage Company software.
  • Manage the Company building including security, maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain and renew Company accreditations and apply for new accreditation as requested/required.
  • Other tasks and projects as required.

CORE COMPETENCIES:

An experienced management professional who has proven team management experience but also be hands on when necessary

Proven management experience in a relevant industry (insurance/property repairs/construction)

Experience of managing a fleet of vehicles for a business - desirable

Experience of looking after the maintenance of an office - desirable

Strong IT skills, with experience supporting IT functions/assisting personnel with IT queries

Proven experience managing data, complying with industry requirements

Ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Self-directed initiative and strong follow-through

Understanding of budgeting best practices and understanding of office management processes

Be able to write fluently, to think clearly and to grasp new concepts quickly

Demonstrate a commitment to the goals and drivers of the business

Enthusiasm and ability to contribute to the successful development of the business

HOURS OF WORK: 8.45-5pm 45 minutes lunch

HOLIDAY: 25 days plus bank holidays, an extra 16 hours of time off in lieu taken at no more than two-hour slots which equates to the total of 27 days plus bank holidays. An additional day is also given for your Birthday if it falls on a weekday.
