Job Title: Business Analyst

  • Salary Range: £55,000 - £65,000
  • Location: Stratford, London
  • Job Type: Full-time, Office Based

Job Role Specific Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, data, and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Gather and document business requirements, analyse data flows, and create detailed reports to support decision-making.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of business strategies and propose adjustments as necessary.
  • Provide strategic insights to inform long-term plans and project prioritization.
  • Collaborate with the PMO team to establish and maintain project management methodologies and standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of project status reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
  • Identify and escalate potential risks and issues to the PMO team and contribute to the development of mitigation plans.

Hard Skills:

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant, with a proven track record of supporting strategic initiatives in the Building/ Civil Engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar software.
  • Strong knowledge PM Tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PMBOK)
  • Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Certification in B.A or PM (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Positive approach to teamwork with the ability to work independently.
  • Highly numerate with excellent data management skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
