Business analyst- (Perm and contractor - multiple positions)London£95,000 per annumWe are seeking skilled Business Analysts to join our team, with multiple opportunities available for both permanent and contractor positions. The successful candidates will be responsible for analysing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and helping implement innovative solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects that drive business change, optimise performance, and improve the overall customer experience.Business Analysts will play a critical role in liaising between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business requirements are accurately captured, understood, and delivered.Key Responsibilities:
  • Requirement Gathering & Documentation: Work closely with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements, ensuring they align with business objectives.
  • Process Analysis & Improvement: Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements that drive operational effectiveness.
  • Solution Design & Recommendation: Collaborate with IT and development teams to propose and evaluate solutions that meet the business needs and technical requirements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring expectations are managed and project deliverables align with business goals.
  • Business Case Development: Support the preparation of business cases, including cost-benefit analysis, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.
  • Project Support: Provide ongoing support during project lifecycle stages, including assisting with testing, change management, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyse business data to draw insights, produce reports, and make data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Change Management: Ensure that change management practices are followed, providing support for transitions to new processes and solutions.
  • Agile/Scrum Participation: In Agile environments, contribute to the creation of user stories, backlogs, and participate in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Key Skills & Competencies:Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyse complex data and processes to identify problems, trends, and areas for improvement.Problem-Solving: Adept at identifying root causes and proposing innovative solutions that meet business needs.Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail when documenting requirements, processes, and technical specifications.Stakeholder Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to engage with various levels of stakeholders effectively.Technical Understanding: Familiarity with technology in the context of integration, software development, and data analysis.Agile Methodology Knowledge: Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or other iterative project methodologies.Adaptability: Ability to work in fast-paced environments and handle shifting priorities effectively.Project Management Skills: Basic understanding of project management principles, including the ability to coordinate tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results.IT and Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., Visio, Jira, Trello, MS Project) and an understanding of various software systems, ERP solutions, or CRM systems. #LI-PB1
