Summary

A long-standing client of Oscar is looking for a Business Analyst to join their office in Paris on a 6 month contract basis, it has a strong possibility to extend. This role is exclusively available through Oscar Technology.

The company are undertaking a huge program of work to modernize technologies and includes well known, off the shelf products and niche purpose built systems. This technology solution is now partially rolled out but we need additional BA support in order to effect this change in other regions.

We are looking for someone with a depth of experience to help identify any gaps in the core technical solutions and to use best practice to deliver a set of functional and non-functional requirements. You role will also cover documenting requirements and present change gaps via the change control process.

This role is being offered as a 6 month contract basis, in their Paris office (Hybrid).

The Role and Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that business processes within the solutions are meet requirements and can be optimized in the future to provide.

Initially there is a significant requirement gathering component, as well as reviewing some of the work that has already been done in his area. We need strong documentation and user stories created and there is a huge scope of work, this is only the initial phase.

Further responsibilities will include:

• Take an active role in design workshops supporting the identification of key processes and business risks
• Development of a set of functional and non-functional requirements
• Ensure that business processes are optimized to meet business requirements.
• Work with test to interpret acceptance criteria
• Assist in ensuring the company is operating to a self-sustaining model
• Review and approve design documentation
• Comply with company policies and procedures.

Essential Experience

• Fluency in French and English
• Knowledge of modelling techniques: UML Use Case, ERD, Process Flow and Data Models
• Experience in business process design and system development
• Experience with varieties of the Software Lifecyle
• Exposure to the implementation of Saas solutions, package applications and enterprise application integration.
• Strong communication in written and verbal forms.

Interview process is a one stage, video interview and the roles can start ASAP, before the end of the year.

For the successful candidate we will need to conduct a role miss classification assessment but we have Independent Contractor and Employee of Record Schemes available.
