Responsibilities

  • Lead the SAP testing to ensure the warehouse management system will work effectively for the organisation ahead of go live
  • Complete gap analysis between the new warehouse management solution and the existing company operational landscape to agree changes required to processes and lead the management of this change
  • Agreement of warehouse process updates and changes in line with the new system requirements, documentation of warehouse management processes ahead of go live
  • Support the process of turning agreed requirements into the warehouse system configuration. This will include physical configuration of the warehouse as well as loading static and dynamic data during both test and live instances.
  • Create and deliver training and development for the SAP Warehouse operative team
  • Promoting full realisation of system benefits in order to drive productivity

Required Skills

  • Strong planning and project management skills with the ability to completion and to manage competing priorities would be highly desirable.
  • Understanding of Inbound, Outbound and Reverse Logistics is essential.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations (goods receiving, pick, pack & despatch)
  • Strong IT systems knowledge including Microsoft Office, WMS & SAP systems
  • Passion and interest for warehouse management systems and warehouse operations
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse and manipulate data and provide meaningful information
  • Strong critical thinking, decision making, and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (fluency in English is required) with the ability to form, develop and maintain positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Hands-on approach with a strong growth mindset.
  • Motivated to learn - gaining and sharing knowledge.
  • Highly motivated and proactive, with a can-do attitude
  • Resilient with the ability to handle conflicting work demands - able to multi-task, remain calm and communicate effectively throughout
  • Ability to question and challenge the status quo and achieve a win-win outcome
  • Able to demonstrate impact & influencing skills to affect positive outcomes across all levels of the business, and externally to the organisation (partners, authorities, clients, etc)
