The Role

• Inspire and educate students as a Business and IT Teacher, delivering an engaging curriculum that covers key aspects of business studies and IT within an alternative provision setting.
• Foster a passion for digital literacy and enterprise among students who may have experienced challenges in mainstream education.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative lesson plans and personalised teaching strategies.
• Assess, track, and support students’ progress, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
• Play a key role as a Business and IT Teacher in shaping a curriculum that meets the needs of students in an alternative provision.

Who We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – with experience or a strong passion for teaching Business & IT in an alternative education setting.
• Transitioning to SEND? - All PS Inclusion Teachers will have access to a free online SEND training hub which includes training for teachers who are transitioning to SEND from mainstream schools!
• Subject Expertise – Strong knowledge of business studies and IT, including emerging technologies.
• Engaging Educator – Ability to inspire students with creative and interactive teaching methods, adapting to different learning styles.
• Team Player – A Business and IT Teacher who thrives in a collaborative and nurturing school environment.
