Are you an experienced risk management professional with a strong background in business resilience and third-party risk management? NJR Recruitment is working with a highly respected financial services firm in Leeds that is looking for a Business Resilience Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping their operational resilience framework.

Role Overview

As a Business Resilience Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, evolving, and embedding a robust business resilience framework
• Overseeing third-party risk management, supplier due diligence, and resilience monitoring
• Leading resilience scenario testing and ensuring compliance with FCA Operational Resilience requirements
• Conducting root cause analysis on resilience-related breaches and recommending improvements
• Collaborating with senior management, Executive Board, Risk Oversight, and Committees
• Preparing board reports and risk updates, ensuring adherence to resilience metric

Key Requirements

• Experience: Strong background in risk management and business resilience, ideally in financial services
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with FCA Operational Resilience requirements and risk frameworks
• Leadership Skills: Ability to influence key stakeholders and drive resilience strategies
• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with experience presenting to senior teams
