As the Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our client’s customer base within a brand new branch. This branch will be predominately selling plumbing & heating products with a view to expand into building products in the future.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development within the plumbing/building supplies sector. Business Development Executive - Builders Merchant - Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Work with the sales team to create and implement business development plans to meet revenue targets.
- Develop a deep understanding of our materials
- Collaborate with internal teams
- Network in order to build relationships
- Lead negotiations on pricing, terms and contracts
Business Development Executive - Builders Merchant - Key Requirements:
- Experience in the plumbing/building supplies industry is essential.
- Proven track record in business development and sales.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good knowledge of building materials
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as required.
Salary: Up to £38,000 – £45,000 + annual bonusHours: Monday - Friday Benefits:
