The Job You’ll Do;
- Conducting market research to identify potential customers, market trends and competitors alongside analysing data to determine market demand, customer needs and potential growth opportunities.
- Staying updated on industry news, regulations, and advancements.
- Prospecting and contacting potential and existing customers.
- Following up on leads generated through various channels such as trade shows, referrals, and marketing campaigns.
- Building and nurturing relationships with new and existing customers through regular communication, meetings, and site visits.
- Collaborating with the sales team to develop tailored proposals and solutions for customers.
- Creating presentations and conducting product demonstrations to showcase the features, benefits, and capabilities of company products.
- Negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with customers to secure new business opportunities.
- Managing the sales pipeline by tracking leads, opportunities and sales activities using bespoke software, monitoring progress against sales targets and objectives, adjusting strategies as needed to meet or exceed goals.
- Forecasting sales projections and preparing regular reports for management review.
About You;
- Ideally from a technical sales background relating to engineering or heavy industry.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a commission-based sales role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse data and make informed business decisions.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within the designated area as required.
- Full, clean driving licence.
