We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to join our recruitment team, where your focus will be on driving new sales, expanding client portfolios, and fostering strong partnerships within the Charity, Not-For-Profit and Social Care sector.

Position: Business Development ExecutiveLocation: Olney and home-based (3 days per week in the office)Salary: Circa £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, plus uncapped commissionHours: Full-time

About the RoleAs a Business Development Executive, you will be at the forefront of our growth strategy. Your primary responsibility will be driving new business opportunities while also managing and expanding existing accounts. You will be expected to proactively engage with potential clients, identify opportunities for cross-selling, and develop tailored solutions to meet their recruitment needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive New Business: Proactively generate and convert leads through a mix of outbound sales, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Develop Existing Accounts: Build strong, lasting relationships with current clients, ensuring they are fully aware of the full suite of services we offer to maximize their engagement and spend.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Implement targeted sales strategies to meet and exceed KPIs and revenue targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for existing clients, providing exceptional service, advice, and support throughout their recruitment campaigns.
  • Cross-selling and Upselling: Identify opportunities for additional services that align with client needs, ensuring growth within existing accounts.
  • Lead Management: Follow up on inbound leads, qualify prospects, and onboard new clients with a consultative approach.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends and insights to advise clients and position our services as the go-to solution for their recruitment needs.

About YouWe are looking for a sales-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will have a proven track record in business development, preferably within the recruitment or service industry, and be driven by achieving targets and building strong client relationships.

  • Demonstrated success in sales and business development, with a focus on client acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Ability to manage a pipeline of leads, follow up, and close deals with confidence.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a consultative approach to sales.
