Permanent, full time

Salary, £30,000 to £35,000, excellent benefits and quarterly bonus

As a Business development executive, you will be responsible for researching new business opportunities, developing leads, and ensuring these leads are pursued. The role involves staying updated on market changes and communicating these across the organisation. You will collaborate closely with the Head of service development to identify opportunities for increasing revenue, market share, and pipelines.

With over 25 years of experience, our accelerated care pathways team are experts in helping patients return home or to a suitable place of care when leaving hospital and work closely with the individual and their family to ensure a safe and smooth transition by making sure patients have a dedicated point of contact to help them make informed choices about their care and reclaim independence.

Every day you will…

  • Provide assistance to the Head of service development and the wider service development and commercial team in developing new business enquiries and arranging appointments to ultimately grow the pipeline.
  • Research and identify new opportunities in new growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
  • Understand the evolving Local Authority, NHS Trust and ICB landscape and identifies key stakeholders and decision makers in an organisation to gauge interest, generate leads and plan meetings.
  • Contact prospective stakeholders through a variety of mediums including social media, telephone, email to present our services.
  • Identify and build internal and external relationships to aid the growth of the contact base in your localities.
  • Support the development of specific sales campaigns working in partnership with the Marketing team.

To thrive in this role, you must ideally have…

  • Previous experience in customer/client facing or sales roles.
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to proactively manage your workload and monitor your performance through strategic goal setting.
