As a Business Development Manager you will play a pivotal role in leading the growth of our ancillary services and supporting our Divisional Directors who are responsible for our Franchise Owners.
The Role
Reporting directly to the National Franchise Director, this role will be responsible for:
- Driving Ancillary Revenue Growth: Lead initiatives to maximise ancillary services performance, including Legal Services, Auctions, and Survey referrals, ensuring consistent revenue growth.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Divisional Directors and Franchise Owners to align field sales operations with business objectives and provide tactical support to achieve targets.
- Optimise Third-Party Partnerships: Manage relationships with key partners like Optimus and GOTO, to increase revenue, driving service excellence, securing favourable commercial terms, and ensuring robust performance delivery.
- Performance Analysis: work with the Yopa Operations Manager to monitor and report on partner KPIs, SLAs, conversion rates, and pipeline metrics, ensuring targets are met and actions are data-driven.
- Internal Alignment: Work closely with Yopa’s contact centre and leadership teams to synchronize efforts and streamline operational effectiveness.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyse trends in management information to identify opportunities and implement strategies that enhance ancillary revenue outcomes.
About You
- A track record of experience within the estate agency industry, with a sound knowledge of the sales process & ancillary management, such as Legal Services, Auctions and Surveys.
- Track record of delivering results, from both an operational perspective and influencing revenue growth, with confidence & creativity.
- Entrepreneurial mindset; you love bringing new ideas to the table and are not afraid to think big.
- Confidence to initiate, drive and deliver change.
- Ability to proactively challenge current practices and think innovatively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to form working relationships with people from different levels & disciplines and franchise partners.
- A collaborative team player. Someone who is open, who is able and willing to deliver beyond his or her personal brief.
