Business Development Manager - Bridging Finance
Locations: Midlands & North of England
Our client, a multi-award-winning short-term property lender, is experiencing significant growth and is now seeking an experienced Bridging Finance Business Development Manager (BDM) to work closely with intermediaries across the Midlands and North of England.. This unique opportunity is ideal for a highly motivated and driven individual who may be facing frustrations in their current firm and desires to work with genuine people, competitive products, and earn more money. You'll manage a large database of broker relationships and proactively bring new ones on board. We're looking for someone who can think "outside of the box" and isn't afraid to go the extra mile.
Responsibilities:
- Deal Management: Handle deal enquiries directly with introducers, structuring complex cases in alignment with the credit policy.
- Relationship Building: Plan and maintain a strategic diary of appointments to develop credible and trust-based relationships with intermediaries.
- Business Development: Actively seek and grow new sources of business from inbound enquiries, broker registration requests, existing contacts, industry journals, and other means.
- Sales Maximisation: Maximise Bridging & Buy-to-let sales from the introducer base by building relationships, identifying competitive advantages, and exploring product innovation opportunities.
- Target Achievement: Achieve agreed quarterly and annual targets for each lending division as set out and agreed with the Managing Director (Sales).
- Representation: Attend and present at exhibitions, workshops, seminars, and other opportunities as required.
Candidate Requirements:
- Positive Outlook: The market has been challenging, so we seek someone with a positive outlook willing to make things happen. We have competitive products which are received well in the intermediary community.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience. We seek stability in your career and cannot consider jumpy CVs.
- Background: A Bridging & Property Finance background is essential
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively on different levels, both verbally and in writing.
- Presentation Skills: Confident presenting in front of small and large audiences.
- Relationship Building: Excellent verbal and written presentation skills and relationship-building capabilities.
- Collaboration: Ability to collaborate, build trust, and influence at a senior level.
- Integrity: Demonstrable professional integrity and a strong work ethic.
Package:
- Salary: Up to £80k basic salary
- Bonus: Uncapped bonus paid quarterly and annually
- Expenses: All travel expenses covered
