EV Business Development Manager

Location- Crewe/Sixhills

Job Purpose

The role of Business Development Manager - Radius Charge is important to us. We would love to welcome you to our Crewe or Sixhills locations when you are in the office, but this role will require regular travel to customer sites and you will manage your own diary.

Your responsibilities day to day will be…

You will be responsible for building long-term relationships with our customer base in Great Britain, advising and supporting them on their transition to Electric Vehicles.

  • Achieve sales objectives through the development and the maintenance of business relationships
  • Work closely with the sales teams in our other business units to jointly approach customers and present our products and services
  • Become an expert in our EV charging offering and the wider market, allowing you to support your customers and act as a trusted partner
  • Develop your pipeline of prospects, managing your diary to keep them engaged and providing the support needed for them to make their decision
  • Identify and help to develop new lead generation partnerships, alongside the Partnerships Director
  • Increase customer retention and adoption rates by conducting regular check-in calls.
  • Serve as customer advocate, including collecting customer feedback on product needs, understanding customer and industry trends, and articulating those back to the business.
  • Drive upsell campaigns letting customers take fuller advantage from Radius group services whilst creating longer and stronger contractual relationships

What do we expect of you?

  • Self-motivated, capable of working on own initiative.
  • A proven track record in developing and growing business accounts, ideally in the EV space
  • Experience in negotiating with middle and senior management
  • Experience in preparing and presenting technical product and service proposals
  • Proactive team player with innovative ideas to inspire client loyalty and adoption
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience initiating and building positive relationships
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
