Our client, an incredibly fast-growing, disruptive Food/Drink Supply business, are looking to recruit an industry-experienced Business Development Manager to join their exciting business. With plans to scale 10x over the next 12 months, this is a role that will allow for complete autonomy over your diary and potential earnings - an incredible opportunity for the right candidate!Our client have been established for 5 years (however, as a Founding team, have over 30+ years' Food Distribution experience!), and are leading the transition to a fair, transparent and sustainable supply chain for Europe's professional kitchens. Our client offer a very innovative delivery model which allows for market-leading prices and a super-reliable service, all underpinned by a commitment to sustainability. Our client already have 30 established relationships with huge London restaurant chains, and are in a constant state of growth. Due to this growth, they are seeking the perfect candidate to join and develop more business with Food clients across London! In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:- Researching and identifying potential leads, initiating contact through email and social campaigns, and converting interest into new clients- Meeting with potential clients over video/in person, communicating the value proposition- Establishing and nurturing client relationships, gaining a deep understanding of needs/products (adopting a very consultative approach!)- Building bespoke quotes and pitches that establish credibility, and sell effectively to decision-makers- Negotiating and finalising terms and conditions to ensure a seamless onboarding process for food businessesIn order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:- Prior experience of selling products/services to Restaurants in London (food / payment terminals / solutions, tec)- Established network of potential clients to tap in to- Ambitious personality with a strong desire to earn fantastic money in commission!- Demonstrable experience in sales, business development or lead generation- Ability to work autonomously (and so manage your own diary)Although a little unorthodox, any candidates without sales experience but a great network of contacts within the Food/Restaurant industry (maybe a Chef looking for a different challenge?!) are also urged to apply.In addition to a very competitive basic salary, our client are also offering the following:- Uncapped commission structure (paid a month in arrears) - realistic Year One OTE: £75,000- Annual bonus (based on individual/company performance, outside of personal monthly commission)- Compelling benefits package- Food perks! - delicious product samplings and food discounts from large client base- Incredible progression opportunities- Flexible working pattern.
