Business Development Manager - German Speaking

Large Scale B2B Exhibition & Sponsorship Sales

London office - Hybrid working 3 set days in office, 2 days from home

Base Salary £30-38K+Uncapped Commission + Benefits

Based in the London office where the team work together 3 set days each week, as a German speaking Business Development Manager you will focus on generating revenues for a European B2B Conference & Exhibition. You will also be required to travel to attend your event and competitor events.

Your day-to-day tasks as a German Speaking Business Development Manager

• Selling high-value event sponsorship, and exhibition stand space to blue chip clients over the phone and via digital meetings and in-person
• Creating and delivering your sales strategy; growing your target client list, initiating interest over email, phone and when you meet them in person and closing the deal.
• Communicating and negotiating confidently and successfully with high level decision makers
• Collaborating with the team to share insights, and feedback and create new ideas for the events
• Use social media (LinkedIn) to connect and engage with relevant professionals
• Keeping the CRM updated at all times

Who are you?

A bright, professional and ambitious professional looking to (further) develop a career in B2B Exhibition & Sponsorship sales. You will have a proven track record of being able to:

• Communicate professionally; written and spoken, over the phone, in person and via emails in English and German
• Work collaboratively as part of a team
• Use your initiative and creativity to identify new business opportunities
• Build and develop client relationships
• Achieve your phone call and meetings KPIs, revenue targets and deadlines.
• Manage the whole sales cycle from start to finish
• Able to persuade and negotiate
