Mapped Recruitment is delighted to be working with a high-growth agency on their search for a Business Development Manager to join their London team due to business growth.
Our client partners with several household names from luxury retailers, food and beverage brands and technology clients to offer a range of services from retail design solutions, pop-up installations and marketing and visual merchandising solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Global Sales Director and General Manager
- Creating new leads and actively bringing new business opportunities to the company
- Working with Project Managers and the MD to oversee all aspects of client portfolio development including tendering, retention and account management.
- Maintaining good working relationships with existing clients to retain and generate sales through different channels
- Researching, identifying and nurturing prospects; generating new leads that result in long-term business collaborations.
- Lead face-to-face meetings with new and existing clients.
- Actively developing strategic sales strategies and forecasts focusing on customers in target markets.
- Creating and delivering client-specific presentations, research studies and commercial/promotional material and activities.
- Preparing and delivering reliable and timely management reports.
Key Requirements:
- A proven track record of sales experience and results within a B2B sales environment
- Experience working with or for retail, consumer or technology clients selling services is essential
- A passion for networking and building relationships
- Ability to work autonomously and lead client meetings
- Exceptional communicator and relationship builder
- Ability to use various CRM systems and social media
- Willingness and ability to travel to client/collaborator sites.
