Business Development Manager - £57,500 Basic + Uncapped Commission, OTE £100,000 + (including Base Salary) + Benefits.

They are a highly entrepreneurial, high growth business based in the heart of central London with ambitious plans for further growth and have a new opening for a Business Development Manager to join the London based Sales team.

About the role of Business Development Manager

With the opportunity of working from the London office 3 days a week, our client is seeking a bright, motivated, and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join their London based Sales team.

As a Business Development Manager, you will:

• Develop new business with new prospects in across EMEA, APAC and North America consisting of Banks, Fund Managers, Private Equity Firms, Consultancies, Hedge Funds and Asset Managers
• Sell subscriptions and data licenses for our client’s online premium data, news & intelligence platform to senior level decision makers
• Manage the sales process from beginning to end - this will include securing introductions with decision makers whilst also providing support to users across all departments and divisions on potential new clients
• Occasional travel to conferences and to see prospective clients
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales revenue targets

About You

• Proven track record in B 2 B Sales / Business Development with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets
• Track record of selling business information / business intelligence / SAAS (ideally Subscriptions / Financial Data / Financial information / FinTech)
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent face to face presentation skills and experience
• Experience of working in or selling to 'blue chip’ companies and experience of presenting to 'C’ suite decision
• Competitive, driven and credible
• Ambitious, self-aware and passionate about career development / success
