Business Development Manager£Competitive Coventry (Office based with some National travel – 3-4 times a month) Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with an international vehicle technology business to add a successful Business Development Manager to their team. The role will be to manage and grow business with OEMs and Wholesalers. This role is a balance of account management and new business development, giving you the opportunity to nurture existing relationships while identifying and securing new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with dealerships, OEMs, and wholesalers.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate sales within the automotive sector.
- Manage existing accounts to ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Develop strategies to penetrate the market and meet sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and client service.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have a background in automotive vehicle build / M&E.
- Be a strong relationship builder with the ability to spot gaps and grow business year on year.
- Proven experience in business development and account management within the automotive sector.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical automotive products.
- Ability to develop long-term client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Full driving license and willingness to travel.
