We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join the team based at our Aerobord Ltd site in Askeaton, Co. Limerick. This position is 39 hours per week and is field based so you must be able to travel, work away from home and have a full valid Irish driving licence.
As the Business Development Manager you will find and develop new business opportunities for Kingspan Aerobord, while also strengthening existing customer relationships to grow sales, through the promotion of Kingspan, its products and its services. You will be accountable for maximizing our sales potential, developing and implementing sales plans, ensuring awareness of current markets and delivering new business opportunities.
Responsibilities of our Business Development Manager
- Responsible for the management and development of the Packaging Sales Development Team.
- Initiate, develop and manage sales activities to support business objectives.
- Strengthen, promote and retain long standing customer relationships by ensuring quality and service are delivered at a premium level at all times.
- Responsible for the identification of potential customers, new niche markets and product applications/development nationwide.
- Responsible for customer communication to maximise business relationships and ensure maximum favourable exposure of the company, its products and services.
- Accountable for maximising conversion to order as a result of proactive response to customer contact, enquiries, and requests for quotations.
- Maintain awareness of sales trends due to seasonal or market changes ensuring product availability.
- Responsible for feeding-back marketing information concerning competition, customers etc.
- Responsible for providing to customers professional technical advice and support to develop sales volume and customer satisfaction.
- Accountable for the formulation of sales input to the annual business plans/strategy in order to protect its strong market position and develop new markets.
What we are looking for in our Business Development Manager
You will have:
- Proven Sales and Account Development experience.
- Experience of management & team development.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual.
- Proven ability to exceed targets.
- Ability to be a good team player, have an out-going, adaptable personality.
- Valid full Irish driving license.
- Able to travel and work away from home.
- Presentation skills.
- IT literate.
- Good level of education
Whilst not essential, the following would be of benefit:
- Relevant Business Qualification
- Experienced within a similar industry; ideally familiar with selling packing to packaging or industrial customers.
