MTrec’s Client Opportunity

Our client is a successful and established, highly successful and expanding hospitality group, based in Newcastle upon Tyne. They are currently looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. The Job you will be Doing

  • Plan and implement a sales plan for the hire of spaces, working to clear targets
  • Manage sales and bookings, deal with inquiries, following up with potential clients, meeting clients and promoting offers
  • Determine rates and prepare proposals to meet and exceed the client’s expectations
  • Capture the client’s vision and effectively convey and deliver this
  • Nurture and build relationships with current and potential clients to identify new business opportunities
  • Identify new markets and business opportunities in the local and national market through research
  • Provide quick and timely responses, and immediate communication to develop professional long-term business relations
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement plans effective for enhancing sales and overall company performance
  • Research to gather information regarding the market, trends, potential sales leads, and opportunities, compile and analyse
  • Organise/be actively involved in sales meetings to discuss activities and future plans
  • Attend networking events to promote and solicit new business
  • Have full product knowledge of the facilities offered at all venues
  • Cross sells all the estate, maximising revenue streams in all areas
  • Ensure the provision of proper aftercare sales support and service to clients

About You

  • Previous experience in a business development manager role
  • Have a passion for excellent service and enjoy working in professional surroundings
  • Demonstrate a hands-on approach and an outstanding personality
  • Be friendly and welcoming to customers to create a great atmosphere
  • Be confident and self motivated to demonstrate a passionate commitment to the business
