Business Development Manager

Location: Field based, UK

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive the growth of Comensura's contingent workforce MSP solutions. Your primary goal will be to secure new business, identifying opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and successfully leading the full sales lifecycle to contract award.

This is a high-impact role where you will directly contribute to our expansion across the UK.

Key Objectives of the Role:

  • Drive New Business Growth - Identify and secure new opportunities for Comensura's managed service programmes (MSP) across key sectors.
  • End-to-End Sales Ownership - Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and proposal development to bid submissions, presentations, and contract signing.
  • Strategic Relationship Building - Engage with senior decision-makers (HR, procurement, and operational leads) to understand their workforce challenges and position Comensura as the ideal partner.
  • Consultative Selling - Use deep industry knowledge and problem-solving skills to articulate how Comensura's solutions deliver measurable value.
  • Market & Competitor Intelligence - Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Data-Driven Approach - Track pipeline activity, forecast opportunities, and contribute to business growth strategies with actionable insights.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or workforce solutions, ideally within staffing, recruitment outsourcing, or contingent workforce management.
  • Expertise in complex, multi-stakeholder sales - Experience navigating long sales cycles and selling to senior decision-makers.
  • Strong commercial acumen - Ability to translate workforce challenges into commercial solutions that drive value for clients.
  • A results-driven mindset - Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills - Ability to influence and build trust at all levels of an organisation.
  • Highly self-motivated and resilient - Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
