Business Development Opportunity- Platform Hedge Fund- London - eFinancialCareers : Job Details

We are currently working on behalf of a platform style long short equity hedge fund based in London who are actively looking to bring onboard a senior Business Development Individual to their investment team. The fund is currently in their growth phase, and looking for a candidate with a successful and proven track record of identifying fund managers, either from a manager selection background or hedge fund business development background.

Responsibilities:

• Find and affiliate with successful emerging fund managers across the equity long short space
• Identify business development opportunities for the fund
• On board successful portfolio managers
• Assist with the capital raising function of the team in a product specialist capacity

Requirements:

• Successful track record of identifying suitable fund managers, either from a manager selection or business development perspective
• Experience identifying strong emerging managers (sub 100mil)
• Experience and knowledge of equity long short, event driven, credit and other hedge fund strategies
• Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to join a fund in a growth phase
