Our client is a thriving digital marketing agency based on the border of New Forest and Southampton, specializing in website development, SEO, and social media management for SMEs predominantly across the UK, and as far as the East Coast USA. Following a recent funding injection, they’re in an exciting high-growth phase with plans to triple business over the next 3-5 years.

The Role

We're seeking a talented Business Development Representative to join this dynamic sales team in Southampton. This role is crucial in driving growth by selling comprehensive digital marketing solutions to SMEs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sell a suite of digital marketing solutions, including websites, SEO, Google AdWords, and social media management to SME clients
• Convert qualified leads into paying customers
• Manage and nurture a pipeline of approximately 50 leads/opportunities per month
• Conduct outbound email campaigns to generate additional leads
• Focus on client retention and growth within your portfolio
• Collaborate closely with our specialized teams (Digital Marketing, Web Design, SEO, AdWords, and Support)
• Stay updated on digital marketing trends and our evolving service offerings
• Demonstrate the value and ROI of our services to potential clients

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in digital marketing sales, preferably in the SME space
• Strong understanding of SEO, Google Adwords, social media marketing, and web development (to sell rather than produce)
• Excellent communication and persuasion skills
• Experience in consultative selling and solution-based approaches
• Self-motivated with a drive to exceed targets and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
• Adaptability to work with various types of SMEs and understand their unique challenges
• Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tracking tools

What We Offer:

• Base Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
• On Target Earnings (OTE): £75,000 per annum (realistically achievable)
