Job Role: Business Development Representative - South East England

Acorn by Synergie have an exciting opportunity for a customer centric Business Development Representative to join an international player in the industry to help cultivate their customer base in the SouthEast of England.
Scope of the role:
* To develop and increase spend of current customer base and cultivate existing relationships.
* This role is no new business or cold calling, purely development of existing clientbase.
* 1st interview via Teams followed by a 2nd F2F interview in Devon
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for all customer development of current low spend accounts, to ultimately improve relationships and increase spend.
- Consultative fact finding and liaising and advising on products to construction companies and retailers
- Responsible for own calendar and appointment making with customers, assisted by an office based North West region Account Manager
- Facilitating and accompanying clients to Europe 3-4 times a year to show them how the products are manufactured
- Visiting sites and scheduling meetings with clients
- Bi-Monthly travel to Head Office in Devon, South West England to attend reviews and team meetings.
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
- Showcasing new products to existing clients
- Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with current trends
- Possessing a strong understanding of company products and services.
- Assist with queries in an efficient timely manner ensuring a positive outcome.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Experience within the construction industry and visiting sites would be advantageous but not essential
- Experience in Construction, Insulation, Solar panels or pharmaceutical sales or a similar transferable role
- 5+ years experience within a customer facing, business development/sales/account management role.
- Ability to manage and prioritise own workload and diary management
- Proactive, self starter and driven to be responsible for your "patch" and all customers within the remit
- Full UK Driving license
