Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to collaborate with diverse teams to drive change, improve processes, and enhance the customer experience through data-driven insights and rigorous testing. As a key member of the team, you will foster proactive and responsive engagement with stakeholders across the organisation. Your efforts will focus on delivering support services and refining an existing portfolio of Power BI dashboards, managed by the Data and Insights team.

Working in partnership with the Data Science and Engineering teams, you will contribute to uncovering actionable insights from customer experience programs, ad hoc data sets, and other insight requests. This role offers the opportunity to blend analytic expertise with collaborative problem-solving to deliver impactfull results.

Role & Responsibilities

Power BI Dashboard Support

• Address bug fixes and implement ongoing enhancements.
• Monitor daily data refresh processes and ensure successful outcomes.
• Manage product backlogs and updates, including the maintenance of supporting assets.

Best Practices in Power BI Dashboard Delivery

• Contribute to the establishment of best practices in UX design and analytic outputs for Power BI dashboards.

New Power BI Development

• Conduct business analysis and capture requirements.
• Design user experiences aligned with established design principles and style guides.
• Develop supporting data structures, calculations, and architecture.
• Create Power BI tabs, navigation, and dashboards, ensuring cohesive information architecture.
• Produce supporting guides and documentation for dashboards.

AD HOC Project Support

• Provide assistance with various ad hoc projects as needed.

Team Collaboration

• Actively support the Data and Insight team in achieving its objectives.

Skills & Qualifications

• A qualification from a college or university in a data related field
• 2 years experience working with Power BI
• Experienced technical skills in SQL/DAX
• Very experienced in working with MS Power BI tool set
• Strong UX design skills
• Experience working on Unit testing/System testing/Documentation
• Experience working with a Project Delivery Team/Business Analysis
• Experience working with Data flows & Entity Relationship Diagrams
• Appreciation of Systems Architecture as well as Data Integration
• Understanding of Cloud Computing
• Understanding of Relational Databases
