Position: Business Risk Manager
Department: Business Risk
Location: London based with travel
Role: Full time (37.5 hours per week). Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in the London office
Reporting Line: Chief Financial Officer

Key Result Area: Developing and maintaining effective risk management throughout the Group
Work with Plc and subsidiary boards to identify and quantify risks and define risk appetiteEstablish a comprehensive business risk frameworkDevelop and maintain a risk register which documents and quantifies risks and mitigating systems and controls Key Result Area: Errors, breaches, and incidents
Ensure all incidents are identified, categorized (eg errors, breaches etc ) and suitably investigated, documented, resolved, and any relevant recommendations for change are madeEnsure actions are tracked and monitored to completionAnalyse incident data for trends and patterns, making recommendations as appropriateProactively undertake themed projects and investigations in line with business, compliance and topical developments Key Result Area: Reporting
Establish regular management reporting to plc and subsidiary Boards as well as the Executive Risk Committee with agreed qualitative and quantitative KPIsReview and improve reporting as required to ensure that key information is reviewed and discussed at the relevant Boardsworking with compliance and finance teams as appropriate, oversee external risk reporting, including ICARA, internal controls reports, and MiFID Key Result Area: Risk policies and procedures
Develop and maintain appropriate risk management policies and proceduresEnsure risk management policies and procedures are communicated to all staff and are understood and followed Requirements:
Experience of working in a Business Risk Manager roleGood fundamental understanding of business risk and business risk frameworksGood understanding of what is needed for risk reportingSelf-starter and able to take responsibility for the functionResourceful and positive approach to problem solvingExcellent communication skills, both with external and internal parties?
