Business Services Manager - Reed : Job Details

• Location: Hybrid Working (London EC4M/Remote)

• Salary: up to £68,000

Join our innovative team as an Accounts and Business Services Manager, where you will lead the delivery of accounting services with a focus on compliance, strategic financial planning, and client portfolio management. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to excellence in service delivery.

You will lead the delivery of accounting services to clients, taking overall responsibility for the team's performance and driving initiatives for team development and collaboration. You will be recognised as a go-to person within the department for specific sector specialisms or technical areas, whilst also being the main contact for clients, providing high-level advice and strategic guidance.

• Review accounts for final review to director/partner and deliver accounts pack to clients.
• Partner with clients to provide insights into their financials, acting as their trusted business advisor.
• Manage a portfolio of clients, with sole responsibility for the client service of that portfolio.
• Management of team including staff, their workloads and portfolio management. Monitoring of financial performance of team.

• Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Proficient in Xero and Sage (essential).
• In-depth knowledge of VAT rules (essential).
• Experience dealing with HMRC regularly.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Approachable with a strong work ethic and proactive attitude.
