Job Type: Full Time 40 hours per week - Hybrid role
Contract: 12 month fixed term contract
Hours: Monday - Friday - 8:30am - 5pm
Location: Middleton
My client is a leading provider of household and professional cleaning products across Europe. They are seeking a Buyer on a fixed term contract for 12 months with the chance to go permanent.
Responsibilities
- Direct buying within the raw materials team
- Negotiation on existing prices, payment terms, tenders
- Influence key internal stakeholder relationships to drive delivery of group purchasing
- Working closely with suppliers and influence internal stakeholders to implement the innovation strategy
- Gather, analyse, interpret and act upon market intelligence
- Ensure agreements are based upon formal legal T&C's
