Buyer - Reed : Job Details

Are you an experienced Buyer looking for a new role within an established business? Reed Procurement are delighted to be supporting a leading business within Teeside who are looking to recruit an experienced Buyer on a full time permanent contract.Job Duties:• Raise/Create RFQ's, RTO's, Purchase and Repair Orders.• Expedite outstanding Quotations, Orders and Repairs to ensure promised delivery dates.• Maintaining previously set re-order levels with economic batch ordering and best practice applied.• Produce and maintain Shortage and Open order book Reports.• Develop and maintain good supplier relationships both external and internal.• Liaise with appropriate parties to resolve queries e.g.. Purchase Order, Tech support, Production Support, Invoices and Quality Failures.• Conduct Regular Supplier Review Meetings.Requirements:

• Experience of Procurement of Aircraft Spares, Raw Materials and Chemicals (Desirable)• Previous Aerospace/Aviation experience (Desirable)• Able to work with, influence and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.• Demonstrated ability to react, negotiate and manage multiple demands.• Previous experience of working with ERP systems.• Batchelors Degree or Equivalent (Desirable)• CIPS Level 4 (or training towards)
