Description
- Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation
- Evaluate suppliers, conduct interviews with vendors, and negotiate contracts and costs
- Oversee supply needs, identify shortages, and ensure timely delivery of products
- Prepare and implement effective negotiation tactics
- Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery, and compliance to terms of contracts
- Review supplies to ensure quality
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
- Coordinate with team members and other company departments
Profile
A successful Buyer should have:
- Proven experience as a Buyer in the Engineering / Manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes
- Excellent negotiation and networking skills
- Proficiency in relevant software and databases
Job Offer
- A competitive salary of around £35,000 to £40,000 per year
