• Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible terms and conditions.
• Maintaining of purchasing contracts, purchasing price, agreements, and terms
• Forecasting stock level and make orders accordingly.
• Tracking order delivery status and review and apply the customs clearance documents.
• Researching the Food and Custom Regulation
• Communicating with suppliers, and internal sales team regarding product delivery status, product quality problems, product sales status
• Assisting to improve the product specification
• Any ad-hoc tasks assign by line manager

  Experience Required

• Experience of working in a Procurement/Buyer role in fresh produce
• Confidence in dealing with challenging situations.
• Tenacity
• Strong excel analytical skills
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proven Negotiation skills
• Analytical and numerate – attention to detail
• Excellent organisation skills
• Competent working with SAP, Excel and Word
• Team player, proactive and results focused
• Degree educated.
