Buyer / £45,000 / Dartford / FulltimeMy client, a leader in luxury products for high spec interiors, are looking for a Buyer to join them on a full-time basis. Within this role you will need the ability to read, design / technical drawings.The successful candidate will ensure collaboration with responsible suppliers and identify cost saving throughout the supply chain.Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the procurement of both direct and indirect products and services.
- Ensure that suppliers adhere to business governance standards and meet the changing requirements of the organization.
- Identify and implement initiatives to achieve cost savings for group products and services.
- Act as a key contributor to the Procurement department, supporting efforts to deliver exceptional service and value propositions.
- Manage purchasing budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock.
- Work closely with product data and report on this during launch.
- Update and manage the product catalogue
Essential Skillset
- Degree in Product Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering is ideal
- 3 years in product development of manufacturing process development
- 2 to 3 years of experience of project management or purchasing/procurement
- Good manufacturing knowledge and ability to assess factories performance and skills
- Ability to work autonomously & independently
- Good negotiation skills
