We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to enhance our client's procurement team. This role is pivotal in sourcing and purchasing materials, components, and services essential for our manufacturing operations, requiring strong negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail.

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of materials to avoid production delays
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to understand material requirements and specifications
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing fluctuations
• Resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing with suppliers

• Proven experience as a Buyer, preferably in the aviation or manufacturing industry
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
