Salary: £28,000 - £30,000Job Type: Full-time. Permanent.Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pmLocation: Barking, Essex.

As a key member of our Procurement team, you'll manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Your role will be crucial in supporting our business operations and driving success.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Building, maintaining, and managing supplier relationships.
• Conducting supplier negotiations and placing purchase orders.
• Managing procurement databases and supplier files.
• Participating in supplier selection and assessment processes.
• Preparing cost analysis reports to aid decision-making.
• Assisting the accounts department with invoice discrepancies.
• Reviewing market opportunities to increase sales margins and turnover.
• Undertaking occasional travel to sites and supplier visits within the UK.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, planning, and prioritising abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Commercial and financial awareness.
