• Sourcing and managing a range of suppliers to ensure the best prices and quality
• Developing and implementing procurement strategies
• Managing relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts
• Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures
• Collaborating with internal teams to forecast and plan future purchasing needs
• Identifying potential supply risks and implementing mitigation strategies
• Evaluating supplier performance and implementing improvement actions

Profile

A successful Buyer should have:

• Proven experience in a buying role within the industrial/manufacturing industry
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills

• Ability to work well as part of a team and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
