Chase and Holland are supporting an excellent client who are looking for a Buyer to join the team after a retirement.The client provide building supplies and are a very well known and well respected name in the industry. They have an exceptinoal track record of retaining employees, hence this role only having become available when some has retired after a long stint with the business.The successful applicant for this role will ideally be able to satisfy the following requirements:
- Follow company systems and procedures for stock control and management using Microsoft D365.
- Placing and managing Purchase Orders for stock, consumables and special items as required, including liaising with suppliers.
- Placing and managing orders for the Maintenance and Cleaning Depts as required, including liaising with suppliers.
- Reporting weekly and monthly balances.
- Achieve all site performance targets to agreed deadlines.
- Ensure PI checks are completed and major variances investigated as per procedures.
- Process daily stock transfers including Production items.
- General administration of stock.
- Assisting in company projects when required.
