The Role of the Buyer:

Our client is seeking an experienced Buyer to manage the purchasing process, ensuring operational needs are met with the best balance of price, quality, and delivery.

Buyer Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement to meet demand and minimise stock levels
• Monitor supplier discounts and availability
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Maintain accurate records and meet deadlines
• Address supply risks and communicate updates
• Support strategies to improve efficiency and performance
• Build and maintain supplier relationships

Requirements:

• Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• A positive attitude with a customer-focused approach
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient planning and organisational skills with a methodical and logical approach
• Experience in maintaining quality standards
