Are you a detail-orientated and analytical Buyer, looking for an exciting new opportunity?  As the company’s Buyer, you’ll work within the Purchasing Department, sourcing and purchasing materials, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

As the Buyer, your responsibilities will include:

• Procuring the best value materials balancing the quality and service required
• Developing and maintaining good buyer-seller relationships
• Issuing enquiries and obtaining quotations, developing reliable and alternative sources of supply
• Raising stock purchase orders and non-stick orders
• Place orders and ensure order acknowledgements meet delivery requirements
• Maintaining procurement data on the ERP system

As the Buyer, your skills and experience will include:

• The ability to read and understand basic 2D technical drawings
• Experience working with product development
• Qualification in procurement and supply or equivalent
• Experience in an electronics design and manufacturing environment (desirable)
• Strong negotiation,analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
