The company:This cutting-edge technology company based in Newcastle are looking for a C++ Software Engineer to join their department. The team are passionate about the work they do and are all advocates of working to industry best practices including pair programming, test driven development and working within an agile environment.
I’ve recruited for this business for the last 10 years and candidates are always impressed with the high standards of software engineering that the team adopt.This role is available as hybrid working model and they would like the successful candidate to join the team onsite in the Newcastle office three days per week for collaboration and support.
About You:- If you have a mathematical problem-solving brain you’ll be a good match for this team! You’ll enjoy problem solving and algorithmic development which you’ll utilise in developing software straight out of R&D.- The interview process will involve a technical discussion with the line managers and the opportunity for you to demonstrate your experience in software engineering.- The current team program in C++ and you will have a proven track record (ideally 2 years’ experience) developing desktop applications with C++.- You will be comfortable working in a collaborative agile development environment and be the type of person who will actively get involved in team discussions around finding new solutions to problems.
This role will involve working on cutting-edge release of a market-leading software product. You will be joining the business at an exciting time where the team are positioned well to roll the software out to a record number of users.
