C# Engineer £700 per day inside IR35 6 months initial contract with extensions London based, hybrid SummaryThe role entails designing, planning and development of bespoke solutions in support of the firm’s Markets and Treasury department. This particular role will reside within the eCommodities squad, which builds custom solutions to solve business challenges in support of the electronic trading of commodities derivatives. This role is for a developer who will be part of a DevOps team building quality software, who can ensure applications are being built to meet best practices and all the non-functional requirements. Job DescriptionThe eCommodities squad is part of the Commodities, Non-linear and Capital Markets area, which is in turn part of the Markets and Treasury Tribe. The squad is building solutions to support commodity trading, primarily in the pre-trade part of the lifecycle. For example, Client-Sales-Trader workflow, Order Management, and automated pricing.  The majority of the applications’ services are hosted on the Azure cloud platform. Development activities are predominantly carried out from London but in collaboration with other development teams in Europe. The main customers of the team are Commodity sales and traders who operate globally. Required SkillsBusiness Knowledge and General Skills

Technical Skills
  • .Net C# coding experience
  • Azure knowledge (Bicep, Networking, Service Bus, App Service, Functions, Cosmos DB)
  • Micro service architecture
  • Angular/TypeScript
  • Experience in TDD/BDD (e.g. xUnit, SpecFlow)
Desirable Experience
  • Domain Driven Design (DDD)
  • Experience with financial products/derivatives; (preferably Commodities, but experience with other asset classes considered)
  • Experience of working in front office or electronic trading systems, and corresponding quoting, pricing and trading workflows
