C# Software Developer (ASP.NET MVC) Birmingham (B60)£40,000 to £45,000 per annumAn exciting opportunity has opened up to join a company that are a market leader in their sector. They are putting great effort into their latest venture and require an ambitious C# .Net developer as a result of growth.You will be pivotal in the development and continued improvement of their software development and deployment. This is a hands-on role, which requires competent, proven, well documented and executed development procedures and processes. Regular product demos within internal teams are also expectedMain Responsibilities:To document the design of the code used to produce an application and keep this up to dateTo correct current and previous code for mistakesTo suggest new approaches/products and keep abreast of road map plansTo ensure all code is backed up dailyAttend and actively participate in development meetingsCompetently give product demos to internal teams where necessaryTo contribute to software release notesTo ensure all tasks are logged in a timely manner on the development ticket logging software and that they are actioned in line with the development processesUpgrade Existing Green field projectsTechnical Skills:.NET 8C#ASP.NET MVCAzureDatabase development/SQL Server Technical Skill (Desirable)Bootstrap & CSSJavaScript/jQueryNon-Technical skillsEffective CommunicationManage own workload & ability to use own initiative to come up with ideas/solutionsCan work independently and part of a teamDedicated and passionate about the product and companyHighly organised and methodicalPro-active, with a can-do attitude
