CAD Technician - Trapeze Recruitment Services Limited : Job Details

SummaryWorking for a well-established and reputable business within the engineering sector based in Canterbury. Due to their location, you must be a driver with a UK driving license. The successful candidate will support various CAD-related tasks, including schematics, as-installed drawings, minor sketches, and sheeting/tagging 2D CAD drawings from Revit models produced by the Revit engineers.The hours will be 8am - 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 4:30 pm on a Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and modify 2D CAD drawings based on project requirements.
• Work on schematics, as-installed drawings, and minor sketches.
• Sheet and tag 2D CAD drawings derived from Revit models.
• Ensure compliance with project and company standards.
• Collaborate closely with the design and drawing teams to deliver work on time.
• Review and interpret specifications, schedules, and technical submittals independently.

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD MEPH and MS Office products.
• Basic understanding of Revit is required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing project needs.
• Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
• Own transport is essential due to office location.
