Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct skills gap analyses to identify areas of improvement within the sales team.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs tailored to both new hires and existing staff.
- Create engaging learning materials such as presentations, manuals, and interactive activities.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with sales team leaders to identify training needs and customise programs accordingly.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure training content is relevant and effective.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and support to sales team members as needed.
- Monitor and report on the progress of trainees and the impact of training initiatives.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages growth and skill development.
- Facilitate workshops, role-plays, and simulations to reinforce learning and improve performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sales Trainer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to create engaging and effective training materials.
- Proficiency in using training software and tools.
- Strong analytical skills to assess training needs and evaluate outcomes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
