We are looking for organised Canteen Assistant’s to join a busy team at Heathrow Airport. If you want to work for one of the best canteens in the UK, can bring lots of energy and engage with customers, we would love to hear from you. You will be providing Heathrow staff members with food and drink during breakfast, lunch and dinner hours. The Canteen Assistant will assist the kitchen team with the display of food and selling of the food and drink items. You will work under the direction of the senior managers and work together as a Team to provide a professional service to all customers.Canteen Assistant day to day duties will be involve:- Assisting with basic food preparation- Serving food- Collecting food items from kitchen and preparing buffet- Cash till operation- Preparing hot and cold drinks- Adhering to food hygiene standards- Clearing of eating area’sThe ideal Canteen Assistant must:- Have basic experience as a Catering Assistant, Kitchen Assistant, Canteen- Assistant or Kitchen Porter- Be a good team player Have a flexible and positive approach to work Have excellent communication skills Have a good understanding of basic food hygiene regulations.- The ability to work shifts between 0530 hrs – 2200 hrs- The ability to commute by public transport to and from London Heathrow AirportAs a Canteen Assistant you will ensure to maintain the cleanliness of the canteen at all times, this includes floors, walls, tables, chairs, service counters, drinks machines, kitchen area, wash up area, cutlery and crockery.If you are interested, please apply today or call our office on and speak to our consultant Oliver Rolls.
