I know, rare right!!If that’s not attractive enough... you will also be able to use our flexihour scheme meaning you can work around personal commitments including the school run!As our newest Care Support Worker you will be working within our Reablement team.Our Reablement service here at PCC is dedicated to helping individuals regain independence in their daily activities. Our goal-based assessments are designed to support clients in achieving their independence, utilizing technology-enabled care devices and occupational therapy aids. We prioritise client interaction while also providing supervision and mentoring to our dedicated staff.What will you be doing as our new Care Support worker?- Visiting our clients weekly throughout their reablement time to monitor their progress and make decisions on their current support needs. - At the end of clients reablement journey you will carry out a full care act and eligibility assessment to make the decision if the client still has needs and requires on going support. What do you need?Experience in care delivery and some great care knowledge!Confidence - remembering that you are the professional at all times and explain this to family membersCommunication skills - The ability to talk to a range of individuals including fmaily member and other health care professionalsKnowledge of the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act - You will be assessing clients against this.A can do, positive attitude - we need this to rub off on our clients!A Driver - You will be visiting clients in the community We are a fun, friendly and supportive team who work together to improve the lives of the people we support.Now is a great time to join us and be part of this service.
